TheLoHiList was conceived as a simple-to-use job board, in contrast to many well-known competitors.
The main goal was to make the user interface as self-evident as possible, so that a user would be able to find a job with a minimum of confusion or distraction.
TheLoHiList is a Ruby on Rails application developed by Brown Beagle Software for a Denver, Colorado based client. My involvement ranged from initial design concepts, right through to providing HAML & SASS templates. Using familiar tabs to navigate filter types, building and modifying search queries is an intuitive process. The jQuery library was used to enhance interactivity and usability, providing live feedback when appropriate. I designed the logo to support an uncluttered UI design.
