Bamaci is a new men's accessories label which required a logo and website for it's launch.

The label needed an identity that would appeal to status conscious alpha males. It should evoke the associations and values of established fashion brands. In particular, a sense of luxury and exclusivity was desired.

Yeloroll refreshed it's logo when I was designing their new website.

The logo was not translating well to the online medium, and losing legibility at smaller sizes. I proposed an alternative logo, and illustrated the benefits by show a comparison of it used on a webpage.

I was called in to help transform an overly complicated product website into one that anyone could easily understand.

Faced with the possibility of losing potential customers to competitors, our client wanted to redevelop their telecommunications product website to be much clearer and more useable. I provided a new logo and UI design to support their initiative.

TheLoHiList was conceived as a simple-to-use job board, in contrast to many well-known competitors.

The main goal was to make the user interface as self-evident as possible, so that a user would be able to find a job with a minimum of confusion or distraction.

A physiotherapy practice and massage clinic opening in Sydney needed a logo that would be able to represent both therapeutic approaches.

The physiotherapy aspect required a professional and medical demeanour, while the massage aspect wanted a soft, friendly and organic feel.

TEARS (Tibetan Emergency Aid Refugee Society) raises awareness about the plight of Tibet and Tibetan refugees round the world. I was honoured to be given the task of designing their logo.

I looked to Tibetan Buddhist art for inspiration, and found the image of Buddha's tear to be particularly relevant to the concept.

News

New Season

A busy Perth winter is turning into a busy Perth spring. Which is just the way we like it.

Cicerellos

I had fun working with Busara on the new Cicerello's website.

Inspiration

Thinking for a Living

Serious inspiration, on tap. Thinking for a Living is an online magazine for designers and other aesthetes. The main attractions for me are the thoughtfully written feature articles and the carefully curated list of links.

Pictory

Pictory is a beautifully designed and tightly curated photography showcase. The combination of large beautiful images with human stories delivers a compelling experience, not dissimilar to that of pouring over a high quality book.
